01

Who we are

Think Swift Pty Ltd, trading as ThinkSwift (“we”, “us”), is a digital studio based in Melbourne, Australia (ABN 90 685 252 902). We design and build websites, apps and custom software, and we make our own product, Stack.

This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

02

What we collect

We only collect what we need. Depending on how you deal with us, that can include:

  • Your name, email, phone and company when you fill in our contact form or get in touch.
  • Project details you share with us, like goals, budgets and timelines.
  • Billing details when you become a client.
  • How you use our website — pages visited, device type and rough location — collected through analytics.
03

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and talk about your project.
  • To deliver the work we’ve agreed on and send invoices.
  • To improve our website and services.
  • To send you studio news — only if you’ve said yes. You can unsubscribe any time.

We never sell your personal information.

04

Our product

When a business uses Stack, we handle information on their behalf:

  • Stack stores the client, job, time and invoice details each agency enters.

The business using the product decides what goes in and how it’s used. Our product terms explain each side’s responsibilities.

05

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run our services — hosting, email, analytics, payments, telephony and AI. They only get what they need to do their job, and they must keep it safe.

Some providers may store information outside Australia. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure it’s protected.

06

Cookies and analytics

Our website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It works without cookies, doesn’t identify you or follow you across other sites, and only shows us aggregated numbers, like how many people visited a page and roughly which country they were in. We also use Vercel Speed Insights to measure how quickly pages load.

Your browser keeps one small setting for the length of your visit so the opening animation only plays once. It isn’t sent to us, and it’s cleared when you close the tab.

07

Keeping it safe

We protect information with encryption, access controls and regular backups. Our security page has the details.

If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we’ll tell the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), as the law requires.

08

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires (for example, tax records). After that, we securely delete or de-identify it.

09

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • Send you a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that’s wrong.
  • Delete your information, unless we need to keep it by law.
  • Stop sending you emails — or just use the unsubscribe link.

Email hello@thinkswift.au and we’ll reply within 30 days.

10

Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first and we’ll do our best to fix it. If you’re still not satisfied, you can contact the OAIC at oaic.gov.au.
